Jacques Herbin 1670 Anniversary Ink Gift Set

The “1670” Anniversary collection celebrates the life of the 17th century French adventurer Jacques Herbin. Sailing from India, Monsieur Herbin arrived home to Paris with formulas for the now famous Herbin sealing waxes and inks.

Great for fountain pens and most writing instruments, each ink is a highly saturated color with added gold shimmer. This boxed gift set includes five 10ml bottles: Rouge Hematite (red), Stormy Grey (grey), Emerald of Chivor (teal green), Bleu Ocean (blue), and Caroube de Chypre (brown). Each glass bottle features a hand-dipped wax seal cap.

Jacques Herbin has been around since the year 1670, hence the name for their premium ink line. The 1670 line launched in 2010 for their 340th anniversary with the color Rouge Hematite, the first in the series.

Due to the amount of particulate in these inks used to achieve the sparking look, you may experience restricted ink flow in some of your pens. We recommend shaking the ink thoroughly before filling and gently rolling the pen in your hands often to keep the shimmer effect consistent. This will also help prevent clogging. You will also want to be diligent about cleaning and maintaining your pen when using these inks.
